Alliance for Historic Hillsborough holds its annual Revolutionary War Living History Day on February 15. On Feb. 4, award-winning author and storyteller Randell Jones shares new scholarship about the Battle of Kings Mountain (Oct. 7, 1780) which places events in Hillsborough at the beginning and the end of this surprising battle 150 miles distant from Hillsborough, a battle which “turned the tide” of the American Revolution in the South.
